A Little Bushwalk

About 1 hr. drive from Hobart is Hartz National Park. We ventured out for a short bushwalk to Lake Esparanza. Once up the Hartz Mountain the views were panoramic. It wasn't as clear of a day as I had hoped. Fires burning left a haze evident in my pictures. I will have to go back on a clear day for some better photos.
The trail to the lake was in the Alpine. The flauna was so strange it reminded me of prehistoric times. I could just imagine a gentle Brontasaurus grazing in the backdrop. My son was imagining a T-Rex chasing that Brontasaurus. However the only scary life was the jumbo bitting flies and ozzie mozzies that lunched on us as we lunched on sandwhiches.
All and all a great bushwalk! Posted by Picasa
