On the Tourist Path
With Grandparents that live 30 min from the theme parks of Californa my children have been indulged with Mickey and Minnie many times in the past. The truth is that it it usally my idea to go. It's kinda like reliving my childhood all over again at the age of 40 something. The hardest part of a trip to Disneyland is leaving the parade of lights down mainstreet as Ariel in her crystal ball pulled by 7 blue dolphines disappears into the magic pink castle. On this trip this time, we ventured a change and toured Univeral Studios as a change of course. I hadn't been to Univeral Studios since I was about 16. The Jaw ride was no longer there just a large shark hanging for pictures. I guess it was just another reminder of time and change.
Really Univeral Studios was all too scarry for my kids tender young ages. No matter how many times Mr. C was told that it wasn't real...he really didn't quite understand. Below are some of the silly pictures taken. They were fun and still make me giggle. We'll give it a go again when the kids are older as for now...well be back to visit princess Ariel on our next trip to California
