Tasmania's Botanical Garden (Queens Domain)

Last week we missed the Tulip Festival at the Botanical Gardens so Casey and I went today to see the commencment of spring. The tulips were nice but the orchids were the highlight in my mind. The Gardens seem to go on forever. With a tall macchiato (strong, oversized expresso coffee) in hand I admired just a fraction of the many acred gardens. In this post is just the Japaneese garden, fern grotto, duck pond, and tulips. The place is just spactacular to look at and smells even better. Posted by Picasa
