First Impressions...
"Where is the steering wheel eh ?" " Oh my...what is it doing on the wrong side. " I asked myself if you can actually teach an old dog a new trick. Just the other dayI was a skilled multitasker. Speeding down the road (on the left side of the car). I could safely drive with my knee, drink a coffee, talk on a cell phone, put on mascara, brush hair, and read a children book without a second thought. My first tasmanian driving lesson was in a car with a stick shift. Challenging to say the least. Then there were the round-abouts. Bad dreams were made of these. Always yield to the right.....unless you think you can beat them. When driving on the right side of the car becomes automatic I am sure that I have sucessfully challenged my brain to the extent necessary to ward off Alshiemers disease for good. It has been like learning to walk again. For the first time in my life I was very thankful for airbags.
