Wendy - are you ready for 37 degrees tomorrow? Hopefully, it will be cooler the day after.

This looks like a tree in the apple orchard that we visit, minus the leafs and apples.....I love the wispyness of it.....

Alice-bathers and beach towels are packed. Bring it on.

Judyp-did you notice the haybales in the back? This picture was kinda like one of those picture searches. How many bales can you find?

Bathers and beach towels ... hmmm. Reminds me of the Noel Coward song "Mad Dogs and Englishmen go out in the Midday Sun." Not sure I'd want to go to the beach in 37 degrees ... just thinking of sunburn and hot sand, and ... Still, I think this will be your first taste of real summer here, won't it, Wendy?

Hi Wendy, thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi.

I've been reading through your blog, and admiring your spectacular photos.

I hope you've been made to feel welcome in your new home of Oz. Welcome from me, too!

Alice,

Why didn't you warn me earlier! I have a huge sunburn. The breeze doesn't even feel good. Feels like some one turned my hair dry on my face.

Jellyhead-thanks for the kind words on my pics. It is pretty hard to take a bad pic in such a stunning place.

The Aussies have been very welcoming with warm, friendly attitudes that Aussies are know for. We feel really lucky to be here.

Wendy - I tried ever so gently to dissuade you from the beach today. (NEXT TIME, JUST DO AS YOU'RE TOLD!!)...lol

I do hope your sunburn isn't too bad. My grandchildren have those special t-shirts for wearing in the water (I forget their names [the shirts, not the grandchildren], but they are made of brightly coloured synthetic fabric. I usually wear a t-shirt in the water too, but that's for camouflage rather than sun protection.

Happily, tomorrow will be back to more normal temps. for you folk down south.
