Hug-A-Roo
My too cool-surfer-son decided to give this cuddly roo a hug. So cute he still has that tender moment in between ruthlessly killing flies.I know I have posted so many kid/Aussie wildlife pics but it all seems so surreal to be able to cuddle a koala or to hug a roo, pet a wambat and feed wild parrots out of your hand.

How precious....I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to live where you are.....Your little boy is so cute.....I have to ask, are these pets or do they run loose by your yard, or do you have to go somewhere like a zoo to see them?
C is looking like quite the surfer dude. Hang ten little buddy! I never get sick of your pics and my A loves seeing what your kids are up too!!
Connie-I had to wait until I was 41 to pet a roo. My kids will have some very fond memories. Lucky!
JudyP- These photos are taken at a wildlife park so the roos aren't shy. They have been handraised and hand fed.
It is common to see them in yards or along side the roads but those ones are shy and will hop away if you get too close.
Sandy-C and his coolness, I don't know where he gets it. Certainly not from his nerdy parents. The hair,glasses, matching cool clothes, are all his idea. He even has a puka shell necklace he picked out for himself. He is 4 going on 14.
Love that child! Tell him that Sandy the stylist like his style!
