Oh I do love the boots. Is that to protect the legs from mosquitoes?
I guess this is all part of your new backyard. Hope it's all going well.
Hi Wendy;
Darling young man you have there... and pretty spiffy boots he has on..... I haven't been by your sight for a while, so I thought I'd drop in and check up on you.....
Hehe! I happen to know that that is taken in Wendy's backyard, but the swing isn't new. I bought the old sisal rope from the second hand store at the Margate train and the seat is an old fence paling, although I think the knots in the rope look a bit diffent so it's probably been improved since I put it up!
Wendy's non Tasmanian friends may like to have a look at an awsome photo of the big bushfires that we had last week. It was in the local newspaper (although they munted it!) and on our national TV station (ABC). Have a look at www.tasweb.org

That photo on tasweb is brilliant. The Mercury reproduction was really poor (but still pretty expressive!)
Phil,
We went uptop Tolmans hill and took a pic. Non of them turned out. Great post on Tasweb and thanks for the link. I would like to duplicate it on my blog. What an incredible picture!
My kids love the swing. Thanks for the history.
Your son looks beautiful!
And his boots is so cool!
Thanks for your visiting and comment! The steering wheel is on the left side of the car, as we used in Brazil.

That is one cute little boy...and I love the boots :)
Those fires were horrible....very scary! Great picture of them that Phil linked to.
Neat swing! I love seeing your Aussie backyard. Makes me nostalgic :)
Looking over everything I've missed since my last visit, what glorious sights you've been seeing! Oh, do take it all in and enjoy!
