Imagine....Beaches Like this.

During the kids school break we returned to one of our favorite places in Tassie for a short stay. The imfamous East Coast and Freycenent Peninsula was as impressive the second visit as it was on our first visit. I was so impressed with its beauty that I can't imagine a place with more beauty. It just takes my breath away. No where have I ever seen so many deserted, stark, white beahces with turquoise clear waters. Unreal. We could even see the manter rays in the surf. I am a lucky girl being here and seeing all this natural beauty. Posted by Picasa

Wonderful photo's of a delightful apple isle-what is becoming the apple of your eye too.....little wonder with such pristine beaches.

And I read recently the commercial salmon catch is getting bigger in Tassie, that is the average weight of salmon harvested commercially –How is your hubby faring? Best wishes

Wow what a beautiful sight.... When I see sights like that I wonder why I live where I do.... if I was younger and braver I would take off and see the world... but I will just have to enjoy the sights through by dear blogging friends...thanks for sharing......

JudyP. When we moved we were scared. We were moving into the unknown. When I told my mom (now in her 70's her opinion on moving to Tassie she said "why not? What eles are you going to do? Your dad and I want to move to Switzerland." That was my inspiration for the move. Life is too short not to take good opportunities when they come your way. If they don't come your way....go find them.
Cheers

The East Coast! And this time of year they have terrific deals for staying everywhere. Sigh! And here I am stuck down on the property.

You photos help me feel like I am there again. Well done!
