Fun fishing adventures - a squid and is that other creature an eel? Sounds like he was glad Dad was there to help :)
That was adorable! God I miss you guys!
Lies,
The fish was a Couta fish. Long and skinny kinda lika an eel. I don't think they have them in N. American waters.
What a delightful fishing adventure, Casey presumably is the name of your son, hauling in not only a fish but a Squid - fantastic!!
Looks like it was fairly big fish!! The One that did NOT GET AWAY!! And hubby , Andrew I think ?, sounds nearly as excited about the catch as your son. What a feat to haul in the fish all by himself !! and to capture it all on video, we could all experience the excitement !!
Best Wishes
Those guys need their own fishing program - it'd be a winner!
Hi Wendy,
Some really great pics. Love the kids in the tub. It's so innocent and you know it will not last. Hope you are still really enjoying your adventure. Gardening fever has started to hit hear, so I'll update my blog soon.
Take care,
Mrs. Wilson
These 2 videos are just wonderful! How thrilling to catch a fish that big. Casey sure was excited and Dad too. How neat to get it all on film. Did you eat the squid? I've always found them a bit rubbery and tasteless. Can't understand why some people rave about them. Perhaps I haven't had them cooked well.
