Hi Wendy,I am Simonetta from Italy. Great adventure yours, compliment!
The baby on the tree is so sweet :)))))
Most amusing!! Did you keep her and make her one of the family?
Isn't it funny what you find in trees - so cute
Anne from the UK
NOW THAT'S TIRED!! :)
She is so cute. Just a cuddly koala. We took her home fed her McDonalds and she was right.
Obviously worn out by the hard work of playing.
Just adorable!
Funny but I don't remember seeing her when I lived there! It's really weird seeing pictures of what used to be our house, especially now that you are doing all of the stuff that we had always planned to do. Keep the photo's comming Wendy, I can't wait to see the finished product.
Phil-
We will keep the photos comming. Everything is a bit of a mud hole but with promise. Can't wait until we can plant the grass in the spring.
Now did you know the koala gets its name from the Aboriginal word which means "no drink" as it receives its hydration from a particular species Eucalyptus leaves (gum leaves) and only drinks when there is not enough moisture from the leaves.
Koalas today are found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. But they are not native to Tasmania, as your delightful island was isolated from the rest of Australia when the Koala evolved. Not that it will worry either you or your peaceful sleeping beautiful daughter.
Best wishes
Hhhmm, and here I was assuming "koala" must mean "red-and-blue tartan" ;-)
She looks adorable, and I'm really hoping she didn't fall out of the tree!
Looks like a lot of work you've started. I hope it goes smoothly!
Cuter than cute! Wonderful captured moment of your sweet daughter.
