North American Family on the an adventure of a lifetime. We moved from BC Canada to Tasmania six years ago with two kids and hubby who worked in the salmon farming industry. We have loved every moment but our nomadic tendencies have called. We are going bush. Inside are the adventures of our year caravaning around Australia. We want to see it all!

Blackman's Bay Tasmania is wonderful! The little isle faraway is lovely!
That lighthouse would seem to come in handy in preventing the odd shipping mishap! And how picturesque to boot.
I wonder what that little islands name is?
The little isle is called the Iron Pot cause they used to boil up the whale's there in a big one. The house in the bottom left hand corner is my friend Raquel's. I love your photo's Wendy. P.S. I'm Phill's daughter.
There is a great restaurant in Blackmans Bay. Its called thebeach cafe restaurant bar. well worth a visit...wood fired pizzas and great seafood. great staff, v. friendly.
