Lest We Forget

We wandered down to the Regatta Grounds in downtown Hobart where we happened upon a ceremony on ANZAC Day. It brought tears to my eyes thinking about all the young lives lost and heros born. The bag pipes played as air craft circled the grounds. Many decorated military personel hung their heads in prayer. Sigh.....sniffle sniffle. Posted by Picasa

Love the pics. Bagpipes always get me. The weather is wonderful here and gardening season is upon us. I love Tassie Ted... We have the same kind of pics of our adventures with the kids bears. It's hilarious. BTW, you take fabulous pics. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Wendy. Not wrinkles, but lines of wisdom. Wishing you a wonderful year ahead.

Great shots Wendy. They have just put a media ban on the deceased soldiers(Canadians) ceremony being brought off the planes from Afganistan. I always thought that should be a private ceremony for the families.

Sorry, but I don't know nothing about the ceremony on ANZAC Day. I only can say that your photos are beautiful.
