Davies St. Park

This is a gorgeous place on Davies St. The park sports enormous trees from all parts of the work planted by Tasmanian forefathers back to the 1800's. There is a large stone walls that winds though the park laiden with tombs and tombstones. The stories engraved on the stones depict a time when Tasmania was being settled. The stories are of peoples live being lost at sea. Some died of sickness. Many of the stones belonged to those who passed on very young. Posted by Picasa
