A North American family's adventures living in Tasmania.
What a spectacular finish. The crew aboard The Wild Oats lead right out of Sydney and maintained the lead the whole way. The broke the current race record by over an hour. The hull of this boat resembled a razor blade cutting through the water. It was sleek, smooth, and sharp. In my next life I am going to be a sailboat racer (not a sailor).

North American Family on the an adventure of a lifetime. We moved from BC Canada to Tasmania six years ago with two kids and hubby who worked in the salmon farming industry. We have loved every moment but our nomadic tendencies have called. We are going bush. Inside are the adventures of our year caravaning around Australia. We want to see it all!

It looks so angular. I thought hulls were supposed to be more curved. This must be some new technology.
Appearently it is new technology. The boat that came in second place was a 10million dollar boat. Expensive technology!
