A North American family's adventures living in Tasmania.
I found this in my kitchen sink this morning. Die, Scorpion Die! I thurned on the hot water and made sure it was really dead. About an hour later I found one on the bathroom floor. It was already dead. I am never walking around in without shoes again.

North American Family on the an adventure of a lifetime. We moved from BC Canada to Tasmania six years ago with two kids and hubby who worked in the salmon farming industry. We have loved every moment but our nomadic tendencies have called. We are going bush. Inside are the adventures of our year caravaning around Australia. We want to see it all!

That is so gross! You have to get a bug control person to spray!
A lady told me today that they live in the carpet and often enter the house through the drain pipes. I can't wait to get out of this rental!
How often to you hear of people getting bit by them?
Not very often. They harbor a nasty sting but they arn't letal. Someone told me that if you doubled a bad wasp...that is comparable to a scorpion sting.
Ouch!!
