North American Family on the an adventure of a lifetime. We moved from BC Canada to Tasmania six years ago with two kids and hubby who worked in the salmon farming industry. We have loved every moment but our nomadic tendencies have called. We are going bush. Inside are the adventures of our year caravaning around Australia. We want to see it all!

My thoughts exactly, I could have so much fun with the containers. I did really funky and some practical ones this year. Companion planting with perenials and evergreens. It's nice to see some of your pics. Even in spring, I bet it's warmer there than here.
Sandy, Mrs. wilson. I think I am going to do some grasses around the deck as a boarder. It is calling for a boxwood but...takes to long for those of us that are impatient. Ill keep you posted and yes...the containers are next. I wish you were both here to help.
What about mondo grass? It's a fast grower (needs to be watched so it doesn't spread), and it's low and has soft edges.
Good suggestion Val. I was thinking some sort of grasses as well.
