Wallaby in the snow?

The only bear in Tasmania (other then the Koala) Can't believe we brought it with us.

The big Tazzie freeze

A rear tree fern in the snow. Not too worried about global warming.

Have you ever seen a eucalyptus tree sprinkled with snow? How about wallaby tracks in the snow? We woke up to falling snow flakes. Last time was 1986 that is snowed at the beach. With no salt trucks, plows, and and snow-ignorant drivers, the roads will be a disaster. Schools are closed today as well as every main highway going anywhere.

Let me know how long it stays on the ground. Why can't you believe you brought the bear statue with you?

The bear was a real unknown with the Aussie quarentine. No matter how hard we tried we couldn't rid it of bug, dirt, spider nests. This is quarentines biggest nightmare. Amazingly it got by however my alder chair ended up in deep burial. I still miss it.

The snow was gone by noon however the surf was huge.
